Awareness Generation Program
Year 2012-13
An awareness generation camp was held in August 2012-13 at slum area in Raipur city by Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society. In this programme, PMSKS aware people with the various Govenment schemes run by State and the Central Government of India for their benefits and upliftment.
No doubt that there are wonderful schemes of the Government of India; all built for progress of the poor and needy. Most unfortunately these do not reach the poor and the needy. Awareness camps about State and Central Government schemes conducted by us to spread the information at the grass root levels.
PMSKS intended to aware especially women, we gave information about Self Help Groups (SHG), we told them its benefits and how Government help these groups. PMSKS encourage them to come forward and work for themselves for their own growth and upliftment.
These awareness generation programmes always benefited people to improve their socio-economic conditions through affirmative actions, so that every citizen has equal opportunity to participate actively in building a vibrant nation.
Year 2014-15
The officials from the Kendriya Shramik Shiksha Board Raipur of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India conducted a two days workshop for labour women along with Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society in August 2014-15 at Muslim Hall Raipur.
On this women awareness programme women were encouraged for entrepreneurship. They also gave them formation regarding capacity building through Self Help Groups (SHGs) and told them its benefits and how Government help these groups. PMSKS encourage them to come forward and work for themselves for their own growth and upliftment.
PMSKS also aware women in this programme from various Government schemes which are made for mainly development & empowerment of women. Many women were benefited with this effort and wished to do works for their own upliftments.
