Inspired by Prophet’s saying, a group of young corporate professionals came together in 2012 to set up ‘Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society’ to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged communities without any differentiating in religion, cast and color.

ABOUT US

 

Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society is a non-governmental, non-political, non-profit and secular organization, registered under section 44 of the Chhattisgarh Society Registration Act, 1973. Its territory is whole Chhattisgarh state and it believes in enabling self reliance and is committed to working on issues affecting the urban and rural poor, with a special focus on women and children. 

 

The NGO was started on April 17th 2012 by eight founding members, and for more than two years, has been contributing to the crusade against illiteracy, unemployment, malnutrition, and poverty. Over the years, Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society has worked in the areas of Education (Formal/Non-Formal/Remedial), Women Empowerment (Reproductive Health, Self Help Group, Micro-Finance), Institutional Care, Community Health, Vocational Training, and Animal & Bird Care as well as in the area of Environmental Care.

VISION

 

A society based on legitimate rights, equity, justice, honesty, social sensitivity and a culture of service in which all are self-reliant.

 

The focus and the sole reason of existence of Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society are to change in the lives of underprivileged children, youth and women, with a life-cycle approach of development. Their families are medium through which the development takes place. Organization and sensitization of the community is the approach through which empowerment, capacity building and social transformation are attempted.

 

 

MISSION
Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society is to empower underprivileged children, youth and women through relevant education, innovative healthcare and market-focused livelihood programs. We commit ourselves –

 

  • To identify and work alongside the economically and socially deprived, women, unemployed youth, children and poor families, and so that they become educated, skilled and aware.

 

  • Enable them to be self-reliant and enjoy a healthy, dignified and sustainable quality of life.

 

  • And to that end, act as a resource to and collaborate with other agencies - governmental or non-governmental, as well as suitably intervene in policy formulation.

The effort of ‘Pradesh Muslim Samaj Kalyan Society’ is to work for social economic and educational advancement of the primitive, aboriginal women and weaker sections of the society by promoting their social, cultural, educational and economic development and also to safeguard their constitutional rights with a view to enable them to take their legitimate share in the national life of the country as equal citizen.
